Union County Library System

The Public Library for Union County in Lewisburg, the Herr Memorial Library in Mifflinburg, and the West End Library in Laurelton are the three independent members of the federated Union County (PA) Library System (UCLS) that was created in 1998. Although residents may use any library they choose, Herr Memorial Library primarily serves residents of the Borough of Mifflinburg, the West End Library primarily serves residents of Hartley Township and the Borough of Hartleton, and The Public Library for Union County serves the remainder of county residents and is the system headquarters. Roberta Greene, director of The Public Library for Union County, also is the system administrator.
