Lewisburg Area School District

The Public Library for Union County is located in the Lewisburg Area School District, 1951 Washington Avenue, Lewisburg, PA 17837 (Telephone 570-523-3220).  The public school district, which serves the residents of Kelly Township, East Buffalo Township, Union Township, and the Borough of Lewisburg, contains Lewisburg Area High School (grades 9 through 12), Donald H. Eichhorn Middle School (grades 6 through 8), Linntown Intermediate School (grades 4 and 5), and Kelly Elementary (pre-kindergarten through grade 3).

Mifflinburg Area School District

Herr Memorial Library and West End Library are located in the Mifflinburg Area School District, 178 Maple Street, Box 285, Mifflinburg, PA 17844 (Telephone 570-966-8200).  The public school district serves the boroughs of Mifflinburg, New Berlin, and Hartleton and the townships of Buffalo, Limestone, West Buffalo, Lewis, and Hartley.  It contains Mifflinburg Area High School (grades 9 through 12), Mifflinburg Area Middle School (grades 6 through 8), Mifflinburg Area Intermediate School (grades 4 and 5), and four elementary schools (kindergarten through grade 3): Mifflinburg Area Elementary School, New Berlin Elementary School, Laurelton Elementary School, and Buffalo Crossroads Elementary School.

Milton Area School District

Milton Area School District, 700 Mahoning Street, Milton PA 17847 (570-742-7614), is a public school district that serves residents in both Union and Northumberland counties.  It contains Milton High School (grades 9 through 12), Milton Area Middle School (grades 6 through 8), and three elementary schools (kindergarten through grade 5): James F. Baugher Elementary School, Montandon Elementary School, and White Deer Elementary School.

Milton’s official colors are orange and black, and the mascot is the Panther.  The district is a member of the Pennsylvania Heartland Athletic Conference for all athletics and participates under the rules and guidelines of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association.

Warrior Run School District

Warrior Run School District, 4800 Susquehanna Trail, Turbotville PA 17772 (570-649-5074), is a public school district that serves residents of Gregg Township in northern Union County, residents of Delaware Township and Lewis Township in Northumberland County, and residents of Anthony Township and Limestone Township in Montour County. The district also draws students from Allenwood in Union County, from Watsontown, McEwensville, and Turbotville in Northumberland County, and from Exchange and White Hall in Montour County. It includes Warrior Run High School (grades 9 through 12), Warrior Run Middle School (grades 6 through 8), and two elementary schools (kindergarten through grade 5): Turbotville Elementary School and Watsontown Elementary School.

Warrior Run’s official colors are blue and gray, and the mascot is the Defender. The district is a member of the Pennsylvania Heartland Athletic Conference for all athletics and participates under the rules and guidelines of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association.
