Check out this new video about the “One Book, Every Freshman” project that will focus on Karen Hesse’s free-verse novel Out of the Dust!
Laurie Miller, librarian at Lewisburg Area High School, explains — in a pretty interesting way — what the U.S. Dust Bowl meant to a girl who lived through it! This summer all incoming LAHS freshman will be asked to read the Hesse book, attend at least one “Out of the Dust” program at The Public Library for Union County, and complete the Accelerated Reader “MindJogger” test for the book.

The teens in Herr Memorial Library’s 2010 summer reading program “Make a Splash @ Your Library” made a pretty interesting video remake of “Atlantis”!

Here’s a “Charlie Chaplin” remake from the teens in Herr Memorial Library’s 2009 summer reading program “Be Creative @ Your Library.”
